1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using DosePoint (the “App”), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, stop using and remove the App.
2. Purpose and Medical Disclaimer
The App is a medication reminder and logging tool. It is not a medical device. It does not provide diagnoses, prescriptions, drug-interaction checks, dosage advice, dosage adjustments, or emergency medical services.
You are responsible for verifying that medication names, doses, and times are entered correctly and for following your doctor, pharmacist, and medication label. Do not rely solely on the App to decide whether to take medication, and do not delay care because a reminder is late, missing, or incorrect. Contact local emergency services in an emergency.
3. License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple devices that you own or control. You may not copy, rent, resell, redistribute, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App in violation of applicable law.
4. Reminders and Availability
Reminders use local notifications provided by iOS and may be affected by notification permission, Focus, silent settings, battery state, system scheduling, or other device conditions. We do not guarantee that any reminder will arrive at a specified time. Keep any other safeguards recommended by your doctor or pharmacist, and do not use the App as your only medication safeguard.
5. Paid Features and In-App Purchases
- “Unlock All Features” is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. It is not a subscription.
- The purchase unlocks the advanced features listed on the App Store product page. The entitlement is associated with the Apple Account used to purchase it.
- You may restore a valid entitlement with the same Apple Account by using “Restore Purchases.”
- Apple handles transactions and refunds. The price and applicable terms shown by the App Store govern. The developer cannot directly process or guarantee a refund.
6. Data, iCloud Family Sharing, and Backup Responsibility
App Store version 1.0 stores medication data locally on your device by default. Only when you choose to create a Family Share is a limited medication-status summary for the selected profile stored in your Apple iCloud / CloudKit private database and shared with participants who accept your invitation. You are responsible for inviting trusted participants and may stop sharing in the app to revoke their access. Apple manages iCloud availability, storage, and account security.
You are responsible for checking your data, protecting the device, exporting any needed backup, and safeguarding the backup PIN. Device loss or damage, removal of the App, a lost PIN, iCloud or system failure, or user error may affect data or sharing functionality. You choose where PDF reports and backup files exported through the system share sheet are saved or sent. Avoid sharing files containing health information with untrusted people or services.
7. Intellectual Property
The App's name, icon, interface design, text, and software code are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Content you enter in the App remains yours.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided “as is,” without express or implied warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from undelivered reminders, incorrect data entry, data loss, device or system issues, or improper reliance on the App. Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer rights.
9. Changes and Termination
We may update these Terms and revise the effective date on this page. You may stop using and delete the App at any time. If you materially violate these Terms or applicable law, we may terminate the license to the extent permitted by law.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, excluding conflict-of-law rules, without limiting any mandatory consumer-protection rights available where you live.
